You will have a 1-on-1 consultation with Dr. Homan, DC to discuss your health history and the reason for your visit. Your estimated financial responsibility will be presented to you before any services are provided. If she determines you are a chiropractic candidate, she will recommend you proceed with an evaluation, x-rays if medically necessary, and treatment (adjustment and/or physiotherapy modalities).

At the conclusion of the initial health consultation, Dr. Homan, DC will perform a chiropractic examination/evaluation.

A series of X-rays may be needed to allow us to clearly determine your condition and establish a proper care plan.

X-Rays provide us with an objective diagnostic tool that will show us the position and condition of the spinal bones, as well as the quality of the spine and safety of adjusting it. We also use X-rays to determine how long a spinal condition has been developing.

Your Report of Findings will be scheduled for the day after your Initial Consultation. This will allow your doctor to review your exam and X-ray findings and to create a personalized treatment plan using current AMA and chiropractic guidelines. We will share those results with you. We also consider your current lifestyle choices, goals for the future, and challenges that may affect your treatment and results. This is why our recommendations are especially important and comprehensive to provide you with the best solution for your condition. You are welcome to invite anyone in your family to accompany you.

Our staff strives to keep waiting times to a minimum, so we ask that all patients be prompt for their appointments so we can stay on track. Stretches, exercise instruction, ergonomic advice, lifting techniques, or other recommendations may be provided as part of your treatment. Questions are not only welcome, but they are also encouraged. Knowledge is power!
