Chiropractor Allen Homan, RPH, D.C.
Injury led to chiropractic care and then a career change.
Dr. Allen Homan was born and raised in Eastgate, OH and graduated from University of Eastgate College of Pharmacy. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, in 2001. While at chiropractic school he met and married his wife, Dr. Tracy Homan.
Dr. Homan started his career as a pharmacist. While in pharmacy school at the University of Eastgate College of Pharmacy he had a head and neck sport injury that caused years of daily migraine headaches. He had to wear an eye patch in order to drive or to work on a computer to prevent eye spasms that would ultimately result in a migraine. After seeking care from many medical professionals, taking a variety of medications that did not help, and refusing exploratory surgery he was introduced to chiropractic care by chance. What started off as skepticism ultimately changed his life. Dr. Homan suffered with daily migraines for 3 years and chiropractic resolved them in 3 months! Chiropractic gave him his life back. He was so impressed with what chiropractic had done for him that he enrolled in chiropractic school. Dr. Homan is a licensed pharmacist and chiropractor who is uniquely qualified and experienced to see both sides of the healthcare equation.
Dr. Allen Homan receives weekly adjustments and works out daily. He knows that good health comes from combining chiropractic care with good lifestyle choices. Dr. Homan educates patients on making better health choices.
Chiropractor Tracy Homan D.C.
Dr. Tracy Homan was an athlete in high school and college, and remained active while serving in the Peace Corps. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, in 2001. Chiropractic care manages her scoliosis related low back pain and allows her to continue to have an active lifestyle.
A few years ago Dr. Homan was side swiped at an intersection when another car ran a red light. It caused neck pain and stiffness, shoulder pain, and headaches. She had whiplash which caused stretching, pulling, and tearing of muscles and ligaments in the neck and upper back. Chiropractic care helped her heal and feel better, which allowed her to continue providing chiropractic care to her patients as she recovered. When patients come in due to an injury from an automobile accident she can relate. Dr. Homan has been there. She can help you find relief from the pain and stiffness, navigate you through the insurance process, and provide recommendations for legal counsel.
Dr. Homan practices what she preaches. She receives weekly adjustments, and follows the same home care instructions and home exercise program she prescribes to her patients. Good health comes from combining chiropractic care with good lifestyle choices. Dr. Homan educates patients on proper posture, lifting, ergonomics, and nutrition. She truly believes chiropractic care is the best kept secret in health care and would like the opportunity to help others obtain relief from their pain, stiffness, or injuries.
